Cost: $500 per week

Location: Middlefield Baseball Field, 3672 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto

Suggested Level: Players should be comfortable with kid-pitch. For Palo Alto Little League, PCL, and Majors would be the most appropriate leagues from the 2024 season.

This will be a fun and informative camp with plenty of opportunities for every camper to work on fundamentals and live repetitions. We will play live baseball games every afternoon. This camp will be a blast for any child that just wants to play baseball all day long.

This is what a typical day will look like:

Morning: Focusing on fundamentals that will be broken down and reinforced with drills and competitions.

Topics likely covered: Infield and outfield footwork, crow-hops, one-hop throws, infield vs. outfield throws, cutoffs, backups, double plays (flip vs. toss), bunting, situational hitting, pitching mechanics and pitches (only fastballs and changeups). One of the aspects that will make this camp fun is that it will focused on the next levels of baseball (pickoffs, leadoffs, and more situations)

Lunch: Players will spend the better part of an hour just relaxing and eating. If there is extra time during lunch we will play wiffle ball and a variety of other fun games.

Afternoon: We will use the content from the week to play live baseball games. All campers will have an opportunity to try different positions while simultaneously working on fundamentals and situations. Each player will have an opportunity to do practice live pitching if they are interested.

With a limited number of campers, the games will move quickly with players moving all over the place and getting lots of reps and individual attention.

Campers bring: helmet, bat, glove, water, sunscreen, snack, lunch.
